Welcome to My First Aid Course. By accessing and using our website https://www.myfirstaidcourse.com.au/ and enrolling in any of our courses, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information
“My First Aid Course” (referred to as MFAC, we, our, or us) provides accredited first aid and CPR training services.
“Student” or “you” refers to any individual enrolling in a course with MFAC.
By enrolling in a course, you enter into a binding agreement with MFAC and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Enrolment and Payments
- Enrolment in a course is confirmed once payment has been made in full.
- Payment must be received prior to the commencement of the course, unless otherwise arranged with MFAC.
- All course fees are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
3.1 Student Cancellations
✔ Less than 2 days before course start: 75% refund of fees paid (25% retained for committed costs).
✔After course has commenced: No refund available. Exceptions may be considered in cases of medical or family emergencies.
3.2 Transfers and Rescheduling
✔ Students arriving more than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time will not be admitted but may transfer to another available session.
✔ Rescheduling fees apply once an assessment has commenced:
$15 for CPR courses.
$25 for all other courses.
✔ No fee applies for transferring between different course types.
3.3 Provider Cancellations
✔ Family, business, or local area emergencies.
✔ Insufficient enrolments.
✔ Trainer illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
If MFAC cancels a course:
✔ At least 48 hours’ notice will be provided where possible.
✔ Students will be offered a transfer to another date or a full refund of fees paid.
3.4 Refund Processing
✔ Refunds will be issued via original payment method.
✔ In cases of extenuating circumstances, the Director may approve either a full refund or a credit toward a future course.

4. Student Responsibilities
- Students must provide accurate personal information at the time of enrolment.
- Students are responsible for arriving 15 minutes prior to their scheduled courses.
- Students must comply with all safety and participation requirements during training.
5. Identification
On the day of training, each participant will be required to provide photo identification. This may include a driver’s licence, student card, or passport. Please ensure identification is presented upon arrival.
6. Pre-Course Learning
- Each attendee is required to complete mandatory pre-course online learning, which includes videos, reading material, and a quiz.
- MFAC will email participants a link to access and complete the online assessment.
- Participants are strongly encouraged to complete both their USI number registration and online learning at least 2–3 business days prior to the course date. This ensures MFAC can provide support if difficulties arise and allows smooth participation on the training day.
7. USI Numbers
- All participants in accredited training must supply a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) number before certification can be issued.
- The USI is a government requirement and records all accredited training from 1 January 2015.
- Students who cannot provide a USI will not be issued a Statement of Attainment.
- A USI can be created free of charge at www.usi.gov.au.
8. Physical Components of Training
- To meet national assessment requirements, all students must physically demonstrate CPR on the floor:
✔ Minimum 2 minutes for standard courses.
✔ Minimum 4 minutes for some advanced courses.
- These requirements are mandatory. Students unable to complete the physical components cannot be issued with a Statement of Attainmen
9. Certificates
Certificates will only be issued once:
- All course requirements are successfully completed, and
- All fees are paid in full, and
- A valid USI number has been provided.
10. Limitation of Liability
- MFAC will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during training, except where required by law.
- Students are responsible for their own belongings during attendance at training sessions.
11. Website Use
- All content on this website is the property of MFAC and is protected by copyright laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without prior written consent.
- MFAC may update or modify website content and these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
12. Privacy
- MFAC respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

13. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
