Our nationally recognised CPR and low-voltage rescue training is essential for electrical workers who need to meet licensing requirements and safely respond to electrical emergencies involving live low-voltage panels. This course combines low-voltage rescue training with HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course components, giving you the skills and confidence to act fast when it counts.

This short yet effective training meets Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and Work Health and Safety Act compliance requirements.

This LVR training is practical and to the point, covering the skills needed to perform rescue procedures in emergency situations, as well as risk management processes and safety practices for the prevention of injury.

In our CPR/LVR course in Brisbane, you’ll learn how to:

  • Carry out a safe rescue from a live low-voltage (LV) panel.
  • Apply risk management procedures to minimise electrical hazards.
  • Perform basic life support, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), aligned with the Australian Resuscitation Council.
  • Operate a low-voltage rescue kit correctly.
  • Use safe manual handling techniques for removing a casualty from a live area.
  • Conduct and document incident reporting and site isolation procedures.

You’ll also be assessed on your practical skills using real low-voltage rescue equipment and participating in realistic emergency simulations.

  • UETDRMP018 – Perform Rescue From a Live Low Voltage Panel (previously UETDRRF004)
  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Both units are required for most electrical licenses and safety compliance. Looking for a CPR-exclusive program? Book an HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course instead.

Flexible LVR Training Options for Diverse Trades

We offer public low-voltage rescue training and on-site group sessions using portable LV panels and rescue kits, ideal for electrical contractors, apprentices, and safety officers. We also support organisations that need to train larger teams in a streamlined format.

For those working in more complex or high-risk environments, we recommend following this course with HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) training or the Advanced Resuscitation HLTAID015 (Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy) course. For workers in remote locations, the HLTAID013 (First Aid in Remote or Isolated Site) training meets regional compliance standards.

  • Meets licensing requirements for electricians and electrical workers.
  • Fast and efficient format with blended learning, including short, in-person practical assessment.
  • Hands-on training with real low-voltage rescue kits and simulation panels.
  • Same-day certificates are available when online learning is completed.
  • Experienced trainers who understand the electrical industry.
  • On-site or public course options across Brisbane.
